This Scotch Shaker Fox Call features a variable pitch reed to imitate the distress cries of a rabbit or hare.
Operate the bellows with an accordion type hand movement. Popular for hunting fox or wild dog. This call can even be operated by string line.
Calling: Cupping hand over open end to change tone, operate the bellows with an accordion type hand movement. Because of the quickness of most predators, we recommend you take full advantage of your Shaker Call and operate it with your foot for any close in work.
Tip: For extra concealment secure your predator call near the ground and tie a cord to the other end of the call. Then hook the cord up so that you can pull it and operate the call remotely from a blind.
Special Cautions: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive heat may damage your Scotch Call. Care should be taken to store it in a cool, dry area during extended periods of non-use. In areas where extreme humidity changes occur, expansion and/or contraction of friction fitted parts may cause them to become loose. Before entering the field, always double check such parts to be sure that they fit tightly together.
